It's All Right

It’s All Right is an immersive 8-channel audiovisual installation by Nullshima Studio that explores the complex emotions surrounding the climate crisis. Taking inspiration from The Beatles’ Here Comes the Sun, the repeated phrases “here comes the sun” and “it’s all right” dissolve through fragmentation and repetition, shifting from comfort to unease. This transformation reflects humanity’s conflicted response to environmental collapse: a mix of hope, denial, and growing anxiety.
The installation uses a layered collage methodology, weaving together historical climate events, AI-generated weather forecasts, speculative futures, influencer monologues, and field recordings, alongside speeches from climate activists and politicians. These diverse elements create a fragmented sensory environment that mirrors the chaotic and contradictory nature of public climate discourse.
